As we reach towards the end of 2005, many challenges and situations have befalled infront of my eyes as i go thru the motion. during the first 3months of this yr, i cant stop thinking that i did my industrial attachments at Ryder Ascent. The fact is that it just seems so long ago but it actually took place this yr. after that some of us went to bangkok together and we had so much fun together. it was amazing. soon everyone starts to lead their own lives and as i lead mine, i found a job at changi airport. worked there from end of may till august. went for another hols at bangkok with my sec sch frnd and met our old frend tanawat there too. time flies really fast and now im serving the country. completed bmt 2weeks ago and im in pasir laba camp now. SISPEC.

SCH of Infantry Specialist- Sispec.
for the benefit of those who doesnt noe the coin-termed sispec. its where they train privates like me to become commanders in the saf and achieve a rank of sgt. i was in the npcc and i can compare that its relatively easy to get a promotion in the uniform grps backed then but that's not the case in the SAF. some will be chosen to attend command sch based on their merits and their decision whether do they want to go to command sch. i said yes to command sch hoping to go to OCS but was selected to go to SISPEC instead. i supposed many felt the same disappointing hopelessness in us who was aiming to go to OCS. one week has passed and there's another 9 more weeks of training till we pop from our basic section leader course(BSLC). it dawned upon me that im facing a culture shock as we proceed with the trainings and events that unfolded one after another. we had a packed timetable and there was less time to rest compared to the heydays of our bmt life. we are having 5bx only if the day's schedule is physically demanding. on those days when we had only lectures and not so physically challenging excersises, we will have 5bx followed by a 3km in the morning before having our breakfast. we have our normal area cleaning after breakfast and the first lessons always starts at 0745. i was exhausted and im sick now.

gotta book in tmr nite at 2100. will have lectures again on tues and having our navigation test on wed. soc on thurs....its freaking tiring and mentally challenging. geez...i still need to get things. stressed out also. hope i can get fine and have plenty of energy plus zeal for the journey ahead. i still have homework to do...hai...time to get on with it...

yea i noe its stagnant. its just that i cant find time to seriously channel my mind to this blog eversince the last entry. i will try to update it as soon as possible. as for now, im happily enjoying my block leave...weeeee!
